AI is closing the gap between designing and building. The win isn't applying it everywhere. It's the judgement to know which problems are worth solving with it, and where the payoff beats the cost. I build the systems where it is earned: scaling a catalog many times over while protecting its new taxonomy, unlocking continuous research at low headcount, bringing a design system into code and keeping that code from drifting off the system as it grows.
